The Ozil goal AI trend has taken over TikTok and Instagram Reels. Creators recreate Özil's 2016 Champions League goal against Ludogorets with entirely different people in his place.
Below are the common DIY routes (CapCut template, prompt tools) plus TrendShot's one-photo alternative.
What You Need (DIY)
- One clear waist-up or full-body photo.
- Optional: CapCut Ozil AI goal template from TikTok.
- Or an image-to-video tool that accepts a photo + prompt (Dreamina, Higgsfield, Seedance-class).
- Or TrendShot one-photo generate (no prompt).
Dreamina / Higgsfield style prompt
A footballer wearing the clothes from the reference photo receives the ball, lifts it over a diving goalkeeper, lets two defenders slide past and rolls it into an empty net. Night match under floodlights, handheld broadcast camera, vertical 9:16, as long as the tool allows.
Reference-to-video style prompt
Video 1 is only a reference for action, camera movement, and pacing: night soccer pitch, low pitch-side camera, ball carrier rounds the diving goalkeeper, controls the ball, two defenders slide past, gentle roll into the open net. Do not copy faces from video 1. Swap the ball-carrying goalscorer for image 1: preserve image 1 facial features, hairstyle, body shape, clothing and shoes. Plain jerseys for keeper and defenders, no crests. Realistic broadcast look, continuous shot. No subtitles, watermarks, or extra limbs.
Tips
Prioritize a recognizable face over a perfect kit. Check the entire move, not just the opening chip — the pause before the finish is the payoff. Change one detail at a time when regenerating.
